Take “A” Moving Back “O” from the Warld with IWAKI

Philosophy

●Ever since the beginning of human history, there has been a constant struggle between people,
which continues to this day.
Our ancestors, the Jomon, did not believe in fighting.
The Jomon, our ancestors, did not believe in fighting,
but in talking things out and building a civilisation.
Harmony is the key to success.
I think this is what makes us Japanese and what gives us our identity.

●Fostering the next generation of Japanese rice growers through international exchange with Australia
We went to Townsville, Australia, which is a sister city of Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture.
By developing opportunities for rice production in Japan,
we will be able to help farmers in Fukushima who have had difficulty in continuing farming due to the earthquake.
The project will provide a safe and comfortable environment for farmers in Fukushima to grow rice with dreams.
We hope to create a place where farmers can grow rice with dreams in a safe and comfortable environment, and show the beauty of the Japanese rice field system, which is based on the natural water cycle.
We will complete the project as a piece of rice field art and send it from Australia to the world.
To provide Japanese quality (taste and safety) Made by Japanese rice to consumers at affordable prices.
By providing Japanese quality (delicious and safe) Made by Japanese rice to consumers at affordable prices, we will contribute to the improvement and development of Japanese food culture around the world.
We also hope that the students will feel the importance of rice production and have an international perspective.
The project also aims to develop human resources who will be active in rice production after returning to Japan.

●Working for the world and for others, being helped and giving back
The earthquake and tsunami caused devastating damage that is hard to imagine and many lives were lost.
Many lives were lost. People from all over the world have been donating to Fukushima to help us cope with the devastation.
We have received donations to Fukushima from people all over the world. Some of the donations came from countries where people earn only one dollar a day.
Some of the donations came from countries that earn only $1 a day. It is with this kind of support that we are able to be what we are today.
This project is a way of giving back by contributing a portion of the rice produced in the future.
